Geoff Flather

Principal of Banyu Hatten Aikido.

Introduced to Aikido by Kazuo Chiba in 1967, he later joined the Ki Federation of Great Britain in 1979 (and the KSMBDA in 1983) as a student of Wasyl Kolesnikov.

With the foundation of Banyu Hatten Aikido in 1987, he continued his own studies under the direction of Tomio Otani (who sadly died in 1991).

In the summer of 2004, Banyu Hatten Aikido affiliated to Aikido Yuishinkai International under the guidance of Koretoshi Maruyama.
